We are looking for a data-driven marketer with 5 years+ experience in performance or digital marketing roles.  With B2B experience in financial services, fintech or SaaS, you will have strong proficiency with marketing automation, CRM and analytics tools.

Who we are

Defaqto is one of the UK’s most trusted sources of financial product and market intelligence. By bringing together product data, technology and consumer insight we help everyone make smarter, more informed financial choices now, and in the future. And in doing so we hope to raise industry standards, power consumer choice and help the industry meet evolving customer needs.

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for delivering measurable results through digital marketing strategies, managing campaigns across multiple channels to build awareness, engagement and qualified leads.

Working closely with our Product Marketing Managers, you’ll apply your optimisation expertise and audience knowledge to extend the reach and impact of our campaigns.

What you'll do

Campaign management

• Develop, run and improve paid and organic campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, email, SEO and partnerships to support lead generation and retention.
• A large part of your work will focus on growing organic reach and engagement through SEO, content optimisation and on-platform activity.
Data and performance analysis
• Track and report on key campaign metrics (CTR, CPA, conversion rates) and use these insights to refine targeting, messaging and spend.
• Maintain regular performance reports and live tracking spreadsheets so the team always has an accurate view of how campaigns are performing and where to optimise next.

User insight and optimisation
• Use your understanding of user behaviour to refine targeting, creative and campaign journeys for stronger engagement and conversion.
• Continually improve marketing assets and journeys to enhance user experience and overall results. Budget management
• Manage and forecast digital budgets to maximise ROI within agreed parameters.
Compliance and best practice
• Ensure all activity complies with GDPR, cookie policy and other privacy regulations.
• Keep up to date with advertising policies and digital marketing standards. What you’ll need to succeed Skills
• Confident analysing, manipulating and interpreting data to inform decisions.
• Good understanding of paid search, social and SEO — and how audiences behave across channels to improve targeting, creative and conversion.
• Awareness of GDPR and privacy best practice in marketing.
• Clear communicator and strong collaborator, comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Experience
• 5+ years’ experience in performance or digital marketing roles with measurable results.
• Proven experience managing and optimising multi-channel campaigns.
• Experience within financial services, fintech or B2B SaaS preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency with marketing automation, CRM and analytics tools. Approach to work
• Commercially minded, curious and proactive in testing, learning and improving performance.
• Collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working at pace.
• High attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
