We are seeking an experienced Immigration Partner to proactively lead and manage immigration matters across the EMEA region. Reporting into the Global Mobility function, you will act as the subject-matter expert on UK and EMEA visa categories, work permits, Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) applications, and global business travel visas. You will partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and the business to deliver a seamless, compliant, and commercially minded immigration service to employees and stakeholders worldwide.
What You'll Do:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of EMEA immigration cases (UK, Netherlands, France and Switzerland)
- Lead and prepare ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) applications, ensuring continuous residence, absence records, and supporting documentation are accurate and submission ready
- Coordinate global business travel visa requirements for employees travelling globally including assessment of permissible activities, visa-waiver eligibility, and posted-worker notifications
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees, line managers, and HR Business Partners on all immigration-related queries, providing clear, timely, and pragmatic advice
- Maintain robust right-to-work and sponsor-licence compliance, including SMS reporting, record-keeping, and readiness for Home Office audits or equivalent EMEA regulatory inspections
- Manage and challenge external immigration counsel and vendors to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and consistent service standards
- Monitor legislative and policy changes across EMEA jurisdictions, translating impact into clear guidance for the business and updating internal playbooks accordingly
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate case tracking, and improve the employee experience throughout the immigration journey
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on candidate sponsorship assessments, cost projections, and offer-stage immigration planning
- Produce management information and reporting on case volumes, SLAs, spend, and compliance risk
- Other duties as assigned or needed
Skills You’ll Need:
- At least 3+ years' hands-on experience in a similar position
- Demonstrable expertise in UK immigration (Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, ILR, sponsor licence management) and working knowledge of key EMEA jurisdictions (e.g. France, Netherlands, Switzerland)
- Strong understanding of global business travel visa frameworks, Schengen rules, and short-term work authorisation regimes
- Familiarity with right-to-work compliance, SMS, and Home Office reporting obligations
- Relevant legal qualification or OISC / IAA accreditation desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex immigration rules and translate them into practical, business-ready advice
- Proactive and forward-thinking, anticipating risks and policy changes before they impact the business
- Customer-focused mindset, with a track record of delivering an exceptional employee and stakeholder experience
- Ability to streamline and continuously improve processes, leveraging technology and data where possible
- Highly collaborative, with proven success working across HR, Legal, Talent, Finance, and external counsel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical immigration concepts to non-specialist audiences
- Sound judgement, discretion, and the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with integrity
- Resilient and organised, comfortable managing a high-volume caseload across multiple jurisdictions and time zones
- Exposure to AI tools and willingness to dive deep into future AI enhancements
- Reliable and predictable availability
Benefits include:
- Private Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance
- Travel Medical Insurance
- Group Pension Scheme
- Group Life Assurance and Income Protection Schemes
- Paid Parental Leave
