The Opportunity & School Profile
This Outstanding academy seeks a proactive technician to cover a period of maternity leave, ensuring the smooth and safe running of the Science curriculum across all three disciplines. Experience with secondary school equipment is essential.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
- Preparation: Preparing and setting up apparatus, equipment, and materials for complex practical lessons, particularly at GCSE level.
- Maintenance: Routine checking, calibration, and cleaning of science equipment and maintaining stock levels.
- H&S: Assisting with the safe storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with CLEAPSS guidelines.
Compensation & Benefits
- Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover).
