Growth Marketing Manager
📱 About Mous
We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised and empower them to be their best. That's why we're building the go-to brand focused squarely on delivering just that. We have consistently built our in-house expertise and spent millions in research and development on our relentless pursuit to make the best products possible.
Over the past 10 years, we have focused on pushing the performance of products
and creating engaging content to guide millions of customers to high-quality Mous products rather than making cheap products for Amazons algorithm. All with the aspiration that we can raise the standards of the industry and provide people with better products.
We're creating products that empower people to be their best, whether they're on a wild adventure or commuting through the city. No matter what your everyday life looks like you can trust our products to remove frustrations, expand your experiences and help you to live without limits.
👨‍💻 About the Role
We are looking for an analytical and proactive Growth Marketing Manager to help us achieve our growth strategy by supporting our existing campaign management, assisting on current projects, and coming up with and delivering exciting new projects.
We'll be asking you to hit the ground running, becoming seamlessly integrated into our marketing processes, learning the ins-and-outs of our brand and core growth channels. Once you’re up to speed, you’ll be given the autonomy to find opportunities within the business and see through their delivery. This role also has the scope to develop as you do, enabling you to work closer to areas of the business you find most interesting, and grow your career within Mous.
👋 About You
As Growth Marketing Manager you'll be a core part of our Growth team but will work closely with our Brand and Creative, Data and E-commerce teams to increase our presence, drive revenue and reach our business goals. You will report into Will Ward, our Growth Lead and take on management of two existing team members.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and optimise paid advertising campaigns across channels like Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, and emerging platforms.
- Grow and develop a talented team of Analysts and Executives.
- A/B test creatives, ad copy, and landing pages to maximise conversion rates.
- Collaborate with designers and content teams to create high-converting ad creatives.
- Manage budget allocation across platforms to ensure efficient customer acquisition and ROAS (return on ad spend).
- Analyse key metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, CVR, AOV) and report insights to senior leadership.
- Work with data analysts to track campaign performance and implement insights into strategy.
- Use cohort analysis and predictive modelling to inform marketing spend.
- Work closely with product, eCommerce, creative, and data teams to align on growth initiatives.
✔️ How will success be measured?
- Full understanding of the Mous’ way of digital marketing and content
- Short and longer-term strategy for Mous, and the priorities of these set objectives and their importance to the Brand. This would include all product categories and initiatives
- Strong understanding of how digital marketing directly affects performance and the P&L and how it can be used as a lever to both increase revenue or increase CM3.
🤓 Skills requirements:
- A genuine passion and dedication to kick-starting your career at a startup.
- A 2:1 degree or higher under your belt (although this isn't a prerequisite)
- Strong problem solver – never afraid to get stuck into the detail to uncover insights.
- A knack for numbers with the confidence to tackle and interpret large, complex data sets.
- A level of attention to detail that will put us all to shame! You'll understand that your accuracy is critical for the correct setup of our digital channels.
- Use your strong communication skills to manage both internal stakeholders (ensuring effective planning and briefing of campaigns and execution) and external stakeholders to build lasting relationships.
- A demonstrable commercial understanding with the ability to value and prioritise work ruthlessly.
- Proven analytical and Excel/Power BI skills to build and evaluate hypotheses using data, with exposure to AB testing.
- Agile and scrappy – you are action biased, embrace uncertainty with the tenacity to see things through to the end.
Nice to have:
- 2-3 years’ experience with a DTC Brand, consultancy, or start-up.
- Experience working with digital marketing platforms and tools
- Experience managing and developing a high performing team
- Experience in SQL and Power BI

- Get Results
By comprehending our business plan, each person can ensure that they are taking accountability for their contribution towards it. We also champion traits such as innovation, grit and resilience – we think differently and aren’t afraid to fail.

We value collaboration highly, recognising that there’s a lot to be learned from each other, and are always prepared to listen. - Enjoy The Ride
We invite everyone at Mous to grab new opportunities and find ways to make each role their own. Things can change fast in an unpredictable industry like ours, so we always want to stay agile. And of course we don’t just work hard – we also like to let our hair down and enjoy the more social aspects of being part of our brilliant team!
🌈 About Our Commitment
Mous is an equal opportunity employer, and as a brand, we value authenticity and integrity. We strive to be different and know that if we are to create the most innovative products and deliver the best customer experience, we need to build a diverse team of individuals who can bring a variety of skills, experiences, and perspectives to the table. No matter your age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, or physical ability, at Mous, your individuality is celebrated.
As a D2C business and heavy user of plastics, we understand (and take very seriously) our responsibility to the planet. To stay true to our word, we've placed "Planet" firmly in our key business objectives and have formed a dedicated team, alongside our cofounders, to build an ESG plan we're proud of. Ultimately, we want to create a better world through our actions and we're doing so across our products, how we transport from A to B, and socially.
