SEN TA - Tower Hamlets
Are you an experienced and empathetic SEN TA seeking a meaningful role from January 2026? A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN TA to support pupils with additional learning and emotional needs.
This SEN TA position in Tower Hamlets will commence January 2026, with a thorough induction and handover arranged before January 2026. The SEN TA will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis, supporting academic progress, emotional wellbeing and positive engagement in learning.
Responsibilities of the role
Provide consistent support to pupils with SEND across the school day.
Implement personalised strategies to support learning and behaviour.
Assist with communication, social interaction and emotional development.
Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times.
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN leadership in Tower Hamlets.
Suitable applicants will have
Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school or similar setting.
Patient, nurturing and resilient approach to support work.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Availability to commence January 2026 following induction before January 2026.
