Full Time
We’re working with The Cornish Seaweed Bath Company, a fast-growing British haircare and skincare brand built around the powerful benefits of sustainably harvested Cornish seaweed.
Company Overview
Founded in 2013 and based on the rugged coast of West Cornwall, the brand combines the restorative power of Cornish seaweed with thoughtfully crafted formulations designed to deliver visible results for hair and skin.
The business has built a passionate customer base who value natural, effective and beautifully crafted products - and for many customers, the results have been life-changing, helping to restore confidence in their skin and hair.
The company is proudly founder-led and independently owned, with a strong commitment to sustainable sourcing, thoughtful product development and long-term brand building.
In the past year the brand has entered a period of exceptional growth, doubling revenue month-over-month for the past 14+ months, driven by a powerful combination of product performance, customer advocacy and smart digital marketing.
With hero products in haircare and a rapidly expanding customer base, the next phase of growth is focused on scaling performance marketing while maintaining strong brand integrity and customer experience.
This role will play a key part in that next stage.

Role Overview
The Cornish Seaweed Bath Company is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to own the day-to-day management of paid media and campaign performance as the business continues its accelerated expansion.
This is a pivotal role for a strategic, analytical and hands-on performance marketer with a strong paid media background — particularly within DTC environments.
You’ll partner closely with the company’s paid media agency, ensuring the relationship is collaborative and performance-focused rather than simply delegated. Alongside this partnership, you’ll also be comfortable working directly within platforms such as Meta, Google and TikTok, reviewing campaign structure, diagnosing performance issues, and making informed optimisation recommendations or adjustments where needed.
As the business scales and investment in media increases, you’ll help shape the performance roadmap, ensure the brand’s values are embedded in every campaign, and drive measurable growth across paid channels.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media & Agency Partnership
Act as the primary point of contact between The Cornish Seaweed Bath Company and the paid media agency
Work collaboratively with the agency and wider team to drive performance and continuous optimisation across paid channels, with Meta as the primary focus
Be comfortable working directly in platforms such as Meta, Google and TikTok, reviewing campaign structures and identifying opportunities for improvement
Monitor, evaluate and optimise campaigns to maximise ROI and scale efficiently
Bring credible channel-level expertise to the agency partnership - interrogating performance data, proposing structural improvements (e.g. budget allocation models, audience consolidation, testing structures) and holding activity accountable to commercial outcomes
Be confident stepping in to manage or optimise campaigns directly when needed
Strategy, Testing & Creative Collaboration
Drive strategic planning with the agency around audience targeting, experimentation frameworks and scaling strategies
Maintain a structured testing roadmap across creative, audiences and offers
Collaborate on campaign creative briefs, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and performance insights
Maintain a consistent pipeline of creative iterations across designers, UGC creators and content teams (both internal and agency-side), ensuring a strong creative testing flywheel
Creative Performance & Insights
Evaluate creative performance across the full metric stack including thumb stop rate, hook rate, hold rate, CTR and conversion rate
Translate creative insights into clear and actionable briefs for the next round of testing
Develop a strong understanding of how paid social delivery systems influence creative performance, including how creative diversity, signal density and ad formats impact delivery efficiency and cost
Continuously identify winning concepts and scale them across audiences and formats
Insight & Reporting
Provide regular performance reporting, insights and recommendations to the leadership team (Co-Founders & CMO)
Surface learnings from campaign data to inform budget allocation, audience strategy and creative development
Build a clear understanding of acquisition efficiency and customer behaviour to guide growth decisions
Growth & Customer Strategy
Identify and evaluate new audience segments and growth opportunities (e.g. post-pregnancy skincare audiences and other relevant cohorts)
Support the business as it continues expanding its acquisition channels and marketing mix
Contribute insights that influence wider growth strategy across marketing and ecommerce
What You’ll Bring
4–5 years experience in performance or growth marketing, ideally within fast-paced DTC environments
Strong hands-on experience managing paid social and paid search channels, particularly Meta
Comfortable working directly in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, reviewing campaign structures and diagnosing performance drivers
Experience working collaboratively with external agencies while maintaining strategic ownership of performance outcomes
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate it into optimisation opportunities
Experience briefing creative teams and contributing to performance-driven creative testing strategies
Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager
Experience running TikTok advertising or willingness to manage the channel directly if needed
Experience in subscription commerce or familiarity with how acquisition quality influences retention, LTV and subscription growth
Benefits
Competitive base salary £50,000 plus performance-based bonus
Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
Career growth opportunities within a fast-scaling organisation
A supportive, values-driven and mission-led company culture
Exposure to strategic decision-making and cross-functional collaboration
