As a team:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Management Associate Manager to join our Data & AI Practice.

We deliver scalable, business critical solutions for our clients in the Data Management and Governance team. Our end-to-end experience allows our Data practitioners to advise on Data management and Strategy, Modelling, MDM, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Privacy and compliance through to Data Mesh and Marketplace. Our technology and consulting expertise and breadth skills enables transformational change at any scale.

As a Data Management Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing metadata management and data lineage solutions that support enterprise-wide data governance and transparency. The role requires you to design and architect enterprise data discovery and lineage solutions that solve client challenges and enable strategic data governance capabilities.

You will work with technical and business teams to ensure visibility and traceability of data assets across the organisation, using platforms such as Collibra , Informatica , or similar.

Qualification

As a Data Management Associate Manager, you will need to:
  • Lead the design and implementation of metadata and data lineage solutions using Collibra, Informatica, or equivalent
  • Define metadata models, taxonomies, and business glossaries aligned with governance frameworks
  • Configure and maintain lineage visualisations, metadata ingestion pipelines, and asset classification
  • Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and engineers to ensure accurate and complete metadata capture
  • Drive integration of metadata platforms with data catalogues, DQ tools, and AI/ML applications
  • Provide strategic input on the future of metadata management in the context of AI acceleration
  • Champion innovative approaches to data discovery and lineage, including GenAI-powered search and semantic enrichment

We are looking for experience in the following skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Collibra, Informatica, or similar platforms
  • Experience in metadata modelling, data lineage mapping, and glossary management
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and enterprise architecture
  • Ability to lead technical delivery and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience with AI-driven metadata enrichment or GenAI-based discovery tools is a bonus.

Set yourself apart:
  • DAMA CDMP and DCAM accredited
  • Outlining a vision, strategy and roadmap for data management well as developing the case for change to support that vision
  • Defining and implementing reference data and metadata management, including next generation solutions and strategies, operating models, architecture and solution components
  • High technical proficiency in Collibra, Informatica or similar tools.
