Cover Supervisor – Barnet Are you looking to take your first step into education or build on your classroom experience? We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Barnet. This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching, experienced cover supervisors, or anyone passionate about supporting young people in their education. The Role * Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work * Manage behaviour in line with school policies, encouraging respect and responsibility * Support students in developing independence, resilience and a growth mindset * Act as a positive role model, promoting kindness, integrity and respect across the school community What We’re Looking For * Strong communication skills and confidence managing groups of young people * A belief in the value of hard work, perseverance and personal growth * The ability to inspire students by modelling a positive, professional attitude * Flexibility, initiative and a genuine commitment to student wellbeing Why This Role?
