Director - Tax Transformation & Data Automation
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Transformation Director to join the leadership team of a rapidly expanding global advisory firm. This role sits within a high-growth Tax Technology & Transformation practice that is pioneering how multinational businesses manage tax compliance, reporting, and digital transformation.
The position reports into a senior leader within the Transformation team and focuses on data automation and direct tax transformation, while maintaining exposure to large-scale global projects across direct, indirect, transfer pricing, Pillar 2, and country-by-country reporting (CbCR). The role involves working with a wide variety of FTSE 100 and major inbound organisations, supporting them on innovative tax operating model design and technology-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead complex tax transformation and technology projects from design to delivery, often as part of wider finance transformation programs.
* Advise on automation strategies and ERP-enabled processes to enhance compliance and reporting efficiency.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to implement global operating models and governance frameworks.
* Build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth initiatives.
* Mentor senior managers and oversee project teams across onshore and offshore resources
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in tax transformation and automation, including compliance and reporting processes.
* Strong understanding of ERP systems and their integration with tax and finance processes.
* Demonstrable experience leading large-scale projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
* Background from a Big 4 firm or senior in-house tax function within a multinational organisation.
* Excellent communication skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to advise senior stakeholders.
