Reception Teacher — Merton — January 2026 start

The Reception Teacher role
This Reception Teacher will design play-based continuous provision, deliver focused phonics teaching and lead daily language and early mathematics routines. The Reception Teacher will use careful observation to assess children’s progress and will plan next steps. The Reception Teacher will join the phase team for moderation and will help lead transition to Year 1 — activities to be prepared for before January 2026 and carried out from January 2026.

The Reception Teacher must be available for planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to start teaching from January 2026 on a Part-Time basis as the Reception Teacher.
