Corporate Finance Executive

We are seeking an individual at a newly qualified level (no prior corporate finance experience necessary, although brilliant is you also have this) as well as those with up to one year post qualified experience, perhaps with some corporate finance experience under their belt, looking to really accelerate their career within this space.

You may also have some Transaction Services experience, some exposure to Corporate Finance or simply be an Accountant with a highly commercial outlook who is looking for their first move into Lead Advisory.

Responsibilities will include:

• Raising finance (both debt and private equity), business sales, business acquisitions, management buy-outs, employment ownership trusts, shareholder restructurings and management advisory work.
• You will also be expected to work on due diligence assignments, when there is demand, within our Transaction Services team.
• You will also work across our team, engaging and collaborating with Managers, Directors, and Managing Directors, giving you great opportunity to gain direct exposure to those managing projects.
• Involvement in a broad range of work such as ; producing key commercial analysis and business plans for presentation to financial institutions or acquisitive clients; financial modelling; drawing up information memorandum and pitch presentations; identifying buyers on business disposals and assisting with business development activities.

Requirements:

• The successful candidates will have a strong academic background, be a nearly or fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA).
• You will ideally be top 10 trained Previous exposure to corporate finance is not necessary, but an awareness and understanding and clearly a keen interest would be expected.
• You will very likely come form an Audit background, but any related service line will be considered.
• Strong communication skills are a prerequisite.
• A good technical knowledge of accounting and keen commercial outlook on business is essential.
