Teacher of History in Brent | "Outstanding" Secondary
We are working with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" mixed secondary school in Brent recruiting for a History Teacher. This school is a leader in academic rigour and classical curriculum design.
The Role You will teach History across KS3 and KS4, focusing on deep subject knowledge and the development of sophisticated historiographical skills.
Start Date: ASAP (Full-time, Permanent)
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering scholarly History lessons with a focus on rhetoric and source analysis
Preparing students for the challenges of GCSE History examinations
Leading the school’s "History Society" and debating clubs
Using whole-class feedback to accelerate student learning and minimise marking
Contributing to the development of a knowledge-rich KS3 curriculum
