Exhibition Sales Director – Healthcare Exhibitions
Hybrid - 3 days in our Herne Hill office.

You will own the exhibition's commercial performance and report to the Portfolio Director. This is a senior individual contributor role with no line management. You will win business personally and own your own revenue target.

We are seeking a high-impact, commercially driven Exhibition Sales Director to lead one of our flagship healthcare exhibitions. This is a senior, revenue-owner role for an ambitious sales professional who thrives on winning business personally and is motivated to maximise earnings through exceptional performance.

This role exists to make a tangible difference to how we serve our audiences and grow our business. You will build your own pipeline through outbound prospecting and close high-value deals end-to-end.

As Sales Director, you will be commercially accountable for the exhibition, responsible for delivering sustained revenue and profit growth while setting the benchmark for sales excellence. It combines new business with the retention and expansion of our largest and most strategic accounts. This commercial role is hands-on, front-footed, and focused on building high-value relationships and closing significant deals. You will drive strategy, secure key accounts, and consistently outperform targets.

You will work in a fast-paced, specialist media environment where commercial awareness, audience insight, and collaboration are key. This role is for someone who enjoys ownership, understands trade-offs, and is motivated by seeing their work have a real-world impact across industries and professional communities.

As Exhibition Sales Director , you’ll:

  • Own and deliver revenue performance for the exhibition, consistently exceeding personal monthly and show targets through proactive outreach, strategic selling, and face-to-face relationship building.

  • Take ownership of high-value accounts, personally securing major deals that materially impact event performance, and developing a key account strategy that drives long-term revenue.

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, expanding market share and strengthening the exhibition’s presence in the sector.

  • Own pipeline health, KPIs, and performance, intervening decisively to keep trading on track and ensure targets are met or exceeded.

  • Create and implement robust sales plans that deliver consistent year-on-year growth in revenue and customer volumes.

  • Coordinate forecasting, budgeting, and sales planning, providing accurate weekly trading and pipeline reports, and improving sales efficiency through data-led decision making.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven senior sales performer with a strong record of personally delivering significant revenue.

  • A sales professional who thrives when hunting for new business.

  • Exceptional closing skills across telephone, virtual, and face-to-face environments.

  • Gravitas and confidence to operate at a senior level, influencing high-profile stakeholders and key accounts.

  • A commercial mindset with the resilience, energy, and self-motivation to outperform targets in a fast-paced environment. You are a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and embraces accountability for results.

  • Strong understanding of event or media sales environments and how to drive growth across revenue and customer volumes.

  • Experience building and executing key account strategies that increase long-term value.

  • A track record of improving sales effectiveness through forecasting, reporting, and data-led decision-making.

If you do not meet every requirement but bring transferable skills, sound judgement and fresh thinking, we encourage you to apply.
