Quality Manager

Our client, an established and rapidly growing business within the food manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join their dynamic team. Following internal developments and continued growth, this newly created opportunity offers the chance to play a key leadership role within a forward-thinking organisation.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading the on-site Quality function. You will provide strong day-to-day leadership, ensuring all products consistently meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead, manage, and develop the site Quality team.
-Ensure product quality and compliance by maintaining alignment with customer standards and specifications.
-Manage and maintain the internal audit schedule, ensuring all audits are completed on time and to a high standard.
-Host and lead external customer visits, accreditation audits, and regulatory inspections.
-Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact for quality-related matters.
-Drive continuous improvement across the site, promoting a culture of high standards and operational excellence.

Requirements:
-Proven experience in a similar Quality Manager or Senior Quality role within food manufacturing is essential.
-Previous experience leading and developing a team is required.
-Strong working knowledge of BRC standards.
-Excellent understanding of HACCP principles and food safety systems.
-Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
-Proactive, organised, and quality-driven with a hands-on approach.

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
