A warm and ambitious school with excellent SEN provision, targeted interventions and strong professional development for support staff. Teaching Assistants work closely with teachers, SENCo and pastoral teams to help students achieve their full potential.
The Role
• Support students in-class and in small intervention groups
• Assist SEN pupils with reading, writing, lesson access and behaviour routines
• Prepare classroom materials and provide general classroom support
• Help maintain a calm, structured and safe learning environment
• Contribute to pastoral support, attendance monitoring and communication with staff
Requirements
• Experience in an educational or youth support role
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience and reliability
• Ability to follow guidance and support teachers effectively
