The Year 3 Teacher will design and deliver engaging, knowledge-rich lessons that support pupils’ transition into Key Stage 2. As a Year 3 Teacher, you will develop pupils’ reading fluency, writing stamina and mathematical reasoning. Working in Harrow, the Year 3 Teacher will also lead small-group interventions and track progress using high-quality assessment practice.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver structured Year 3 lessons across the lower KS2 curriculum
- Lead guided reading and writing development sessions
- Monitor attainment and plan targeted support
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and phase colleagues
- Build strong relationships with families in Harrow
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience within KS2
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Available to start January 2026
