KS2 teacher | Dulwich
A forward-looking primary school in Dulwich is seeking a confident KS2 teacher to join their team from January 2026. The KS2 teacher will plan engaging, knowledge-rich sequences that develop pupils’ fluency, reasoning and creativity across English, mathematics and foundation subjects. The KS2 teacher will be central to assessment cycles, intervention planning and enrichment activities. An induction programme will run prior to January 2026, enabling the KS2 teacher to work with colleagues on curriculum mapping ahead of the spring term. Parents in Dulwich value rigorous teaching and the KS2 teacher will contribute to a culture of high expectations and pupil wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver ambitious KS2 lessons with clear sequencing and challenge.
- Use assessment data to identify priorities and implement targeted support.
- Lead small-group teaching to close gaps and extend higher-attaining pupils.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and moderation.
- Maintain strong communication with families and support whole-school projects.
Person specification
- Qualified teacher with proven experience in Key Stage 2 classrooms.
- Strong curriculum knowledge, confident planning skills and effective classroom management.
- Committed to professional development and to working within the Dulwich school community.
- Available to start January 2026 and to be based in Dulwich.
