The Opportunity & Role Profile
This large inner-city academy requires a strategic Facilities Manager to be the operational lead for the campus. You will oversee budgets, compliance, and lead the premises team, ensuring the estate functions optimally to support educational excellence in a high-demand urban environment.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
- Strategic Visionary: Developing and implementing long-term Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategies and managing maintenance budgets.
- Contract Crusader: Full accountability for all statutory and regulatory compliance (H&S, Fire, Water) and managing all external service contracts.
- Team Leader: Direct line management of Caretaking, cleaning, and grounds staff teams.
Compensation & Benefits
- Essential Requirements: Extensive managerial experience in facilities management and strong budget/compliance management capability.
- Salary Range: Highly competitive salary (expected to be £48,000 - £58,000 per annum), reflecting Inner London weighting.
