ECT: RE Teacher – Launch Your Career with a Rigorous, Diverse Curriculum Focus – Hammersmith & Fulham
A high-performing, academic secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham is seeking an ECT of Religious Education (Year 1 or 2) to join their Humanities faculty in January 2026.
- ECT: RE Teacher required from January 2026
- Hammersmith & Fulham-based school with an emphasis on rigorous debate and diverse cultural studies.
- Ideal for a graduate passionate about philosophy, ethics, and a structured induction.
You will teach RE across KS3 and GCSE , receiving intensive mentoring and a reduced timetable . The induction focuses on mastering the delivery of rigorous philosophical and ethical concepts, using the department’s shared resources to ensure consistency across a diverse range of religious and non-religious studies.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS or completing final training in Religious Education, Philosophy, or Theology .
- High commitment to promoting rigorous academic discussion and critical thinking.
- Willingness to engage fully with the structured mentorship and CPD cycle.
- Excellent potential for strong classroom presence and engaging lesson delivery.
