Head of Marketing (12-month FTC)
Rapha launched in 2004 to redefine cycling apparel. Today progressive design and storytelling has built a global movement.
We love cycling in all its forms, from the city streets to the highest peaks. And we know its power to transform lives. Led by innovation, we embody this love through a dedication to the world's greatest sport, by setting a new standard in design and pushing the cutting edge of performance and human craft.
As we look ahead, we’re focused on growing Rapha’s global impact and we’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead Rapha’s global campaigns and communications functions - shaping how the brand shows up across the world. You will ensure every campaign and piece of communication reflects Rapha’s DNA, driving both brand equity and commercial results. This role will report to the Global Marketing Director.
The Role:
Lead the campaigns and communications functions, ensuring cohesive planning, creative excellence, and timely delivery across global initiatives.
Translate brand strategy and product priorities into integrated campaign plans that blend storytelling and performance marketing.
Own the GTM improvement process and campaign development, delivered by the brand team. Be accountable for the overall process, timelines, and quality of delivery.
Drive and sign off all BAU comms - including email, homepage, web pages, and paid media content in close collaboration with the Head of Ecommerce and Head of Growth & Performance, to ensure consistency and impact across every touchpoint.
Partner with the Head of Content, Head of Brand, and the Media and Influence Manager to maximise the owned and earned impact of all campaigns, communications, and activations.
Work with the RCC team and Regional Marketing & Community teams to ensure effective local delivery and amplification of campaigns through community and club networks.
Lead campaign hindsight reviews with the Brand Manager, Brand Marketing Executive and cross-functional teams to extract insights and improve creative, process, and channel performance.
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of campaign and comms specialists, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.
Uphold Rapha’s tone, aesthetic, and authenticity across all touchpoints - ensuring consistency and cultural resonance.
About You:
Candidates may possess the following skills. We're open to a wide variety of backgrounds and skill sets which may fulfill the requirements in a similar way.
Proven experience at a Head of Marketing/Senior Brand Manager level within a premium retail / sports apparel brand.
Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing, mentoring, and developing specialist marketing teams.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence senior leadership.
Deep understanding of integrated marketing principles, spanning brand storytelling, content, digital/e-commerce, and performance marketing channels.
Demonstrated ability to own and optimise complex GTM processes in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to link campaign activity directly to business and sales performance.
A passion for cycling and an innate understanding of Rapha’s brand positioning and culture is desirable.
