  • Our Investments business is a specialist asset manager that focuses on areas where we have both strength and scale to capitalise on the key themes shaping the market, through either public markets or alternative asset classes.

About the Department


Our Real Assets division sits at the heart of how we enable clients to be better investors, managing one of the largest real estate investment footprints in the UK and Europe. Within this, the Real Estate Investment Strategy and Research teams work closely with fund managers, asset managers and transaction specialists to deliver market‑leading insight, robust forecasting and data‑driven decision making. The team collaborates across regions, embraces new tools and analytical approaches, and operates in a supportive, learning‑oriented culture where expertise is shared and diverse viewpoints are valued.

About the Role


As an Investment Research Analyst focused on APAC real estate markets, you will play a crucial role in our global Research function, contributing to market forecasts, thematic analysis and investment insight that supports both regional and global strategies. Based in Edinburgh or London and working in a blended pattern, you will be part of a highly experienced team, learning from senior colleagues while developing your own analytical capability and market expertise. This role offers strong exposure to investment decision‑making, client engagement and cross‑regional collaboration, helping you build a long‑term research career while investing in your own tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce market analysis, forecasts and written insight on the Asia‑Pacific real estate markets.

  • Maintain and enhance proprietary forecasting models.

  • Collaborate with the Investment Strategy Team to shape investment decisions.

  • Provide market intelligence and respond to information requests.

  • Contribute to thought‑leadership pieces and presentations.


About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess some of the following:

  • Analytical, curious and fast‑learning team player.

  • Strong communication and numeracy skills.

  • Familiarity with Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.

  • Understanding of macroeconomic or financial market drivers.

  • Degree in economics, mathematics or related discipline

  • Knowledge of APAC real estate markets.

  • Experience in consultancy or investment houses.

  • Additional language capability relevant to APAC.
