English Teacher – Outstanding Secondary School – Brent – Immediate Start or September 2025 Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in an outstanding secondary school? We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join a high-achieving school in Brent, with positions available immediately and for a September 2025 start. This role is open to ECTs and experienced English Teachers looking to make a real impact. English Teacher – The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for an English Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Brent, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The successful English Teacher will inspire students, foster a love for literature and language, and contribute to the school's excellent academic results. ECTs will receive full support and mentorship to excel in their teaching careers. English Teacher – Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Inspire and challenge students to achieve their best in English
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Engage with extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community
- Maintain high expectations for student behavior and academic achievement
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English in a secondary school (ECTs welcome)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language
- Ability to engage and motivate students in a dynamic classroom environment
- Commitment to the values and ethos of an outstanding secondary school
- Location: Brent, London
- Start Date: Immediate start or September 2025
- Contract: Permanent & long-term contracts available
- Salary: £31,650 - £55,029 (dependent on experience)
