Job Title: Project Manager – Cybersecurity
Location: WFH/London 1 day per week

The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver cybersecurity projects for our clients in a managed services environment. As part of a leading cybersecurity services provider, you will manage the delivery of critical security solutions, including monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and compliance management. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full project lifecycle for multiple client engagements, including security monitoring, vulnerability management, SOC Onboarding, professional services engagements, and incident response service deployments.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectations throughout the project.
Develop detailed project plans that align with client requirements, cybersecurity best practices, and managed service offerings.
Ensure timely delivery of cybersecurity solutions such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and other managed security services.
Coordinate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) team and other technical resources to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of security solutions.
Identify potential project risks related to client environments, security tools, or compliance requirements, and work proactively to mitigate them.
Track and manage project scope, schedules, and budgets, delivering regular reports to clients and internal leadership.
Collaborate with sales, technical, and operations teams to scope and deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Drive continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned from client engagements and refining project delivery methodologies.
Ensure all client projects adhere to industry security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR) and internal SLAs.
Lead and manage client projects involving Microsoft technologies, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and the wider Microsoft cloud ecosystem.
Oversee the delivery of Microsoft-based transformation, migration, and security enhancement projects within a managed services environment.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including cloud engineers, security specialists, and SOC resources, to ensure successful delivery of Microsoft technology initiatives.
Ensure Microsoft technology projects are delivered in line with agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
Act as a central point of coordination between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors for Microsoft-related projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a managed services or cybersecurity environment.
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of managed security services, including SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and cloud security solutions.
Experience in managing projects that involve the deployment and integration of cybersecurity technologies.
Proven experience in managing multiple, simultaneous projects for clients, with an ability to balance competing priorities.
Client-facing experience, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with SOC processes and other cybersecurity operations environments.
Ability to manage technical teams and coordinate across departments to ensure successful project delivery.
Experience with agile or scrum methodologies is a plus.
Experience managing projects involving Microsoft technologies, particularly within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft cloud-based environments.
Demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft transformation, migration, or platform modernisation initiatives.
Familiarity with Microsoft identity, cloud, and security services from a project delivery and coordination perspective.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in or managing Security Operations Center (SOC) environments for clients.
Knowledge of cloud security services and solutions, including AWS and Azure security.
Understanding of threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management processes in a managed services environment.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements such as NIST, CIS, and GDPR.
Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, particularly in automation and tool integration.
