English Teacher – Deliver Challenging A-Level Literary Analysis and Mentor High-Achieving Sixth Form Students – Barking & Dagenham

An ambitious secondary school in Barking & Dagenham is seeking an experienced and intellectually engaging Teacher of English with a strong focus on advanced literary analysis at the Sixth Form level from January 2026.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a relevant degree in English or Literature.
• Proven success in teaching challenging texts at A-Level.
• Experience in successfully mentoring students through the UCAS application process.
• Commitment to contributing to the school's academic literacy programme.
