Role Information
The school is seeking a passionate Biology Teacher to join its successful Science Faculty from January. The role involves teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4 , with A Level Biology available for experienced teachers.
You will deliver lessons that combine strong subject knowledge with practical experimentation and real-world scientific application. The department places a strong emphasis on scientific literacy, investigative skills, and exam preparation.
The Science Faculty is well-established and collaborative, with shared planning, regular moderation, and a strong culture of mentoring and support. Teachers are encouraged to develop innovative teaching methods and contribute to enrichment activities such as science clubs and STEM events.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A degree in Biology or a related science discipline
• Experience teaching Biology at secondary level
• Strong practical laboratory skills
• Commitment to high academic standards
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
