PMO Lead (Hiring Immediately)
G MASS Consulting is seeking an experienced Interim PMO Lead for a leading fintech company, to bring structure to an existing but underdeveloped PMO function. This is not a greenfield build, the foundations are there, but they need an experienced hand to critique the current setup, establish the right operating cadence and drive meaningful change.
The role spans the entire business and covers a number of strategic projects, sitting at the heart of the organisation during a period of significant transformation.
This is an interim engagement with a clear remit: assess what exists and build the right foundations. The role spans the entire business and sits at the centre of the client's strategic delivery agenda.
Hybrid working with three days per week at their London office.
What you'll do:
- Assess and critique the current PMO setup with fresh, experienced eyes
- Establish and embed a robust governance framework and operating cadence
- Run and chair key programme and steering meetings
- Challenge existing approaches constructively where needed
- Navigate a complex, change-heavy environment with confidence and credibility
- Manage senior stakeholders effectively, including C-suite and board-level personalities
- Define and document the target operating model in preparation for a permanent handover
Requirements
- A seasoned PMO professional with a strong track record of building or significantly improving PMO functions
- Comfortable operating across an entire organisation, spanning numerous strategic projects simultaneously
- Experienced in financial services, fintech or similarly regulated, fast-moving environments
- A clear communicator with the confidence to challenge
- Available to start late June / early July 2025
Benefits
Salary: £75,000
Length: initial 4 months contract
