Receptionist - Southwark Outstanding Secondary School
We are working with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" secondary school in Southwark recruiting for a School Receptionist. This role involves significant interaction with students and requires a professional, calm demeanor.
The Role You will provide essential support to the student body and the administrative team.
Start Date: ASAP (Full-time, Permanent)
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the student reception desk (lates, medical room visits, and lost property)
Maintaining pupil records and updating information on the school database
Supporting the school’s admissions process and student enrollment
Handling high-volume phone enquiries from parents and external agencies
Coordinating the dispatch of student reports and letters
What the School Is Looking For
Proven experience in a secondary school office is highly desirable
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Strong IT skills and familiarity with school databases (SIMS/Arbor)
