The Role
The school is seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Attendance Officer to improve and maintain high levels of student attendance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and track student attendance and punctuality
Analyse attendance data and identify trends
Work with pastoral teams to support students
Liaise with parents and external agencies
Conduct attendance meetings and interventions
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance
Requirements
Experience in a school or attendance-related role
Strong data analysis and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build relationships with students and families
Knowledge of attendance procedures and safeguarding
