Nanny

** Full-Time Nanny / Governess / Tutor – Central London (Live-In or Daily) **

A Swedish mother based in Chelsea, Central London, is seeking an experienced and professional full-time Nanny/Governess/Tutor (aged approximately 28–38) to support the care and development of her 10-month-old son.

** About the baby boy**

My son is a happy, energetic, and curious baby who thrives around warm, engaging, and positive people. He is sociable, confident, and enjoys interacting with both adults and other children.

He currently attends music classes three times per week and has regular swimming lessons. He has a cow’s milk allergy and a potential sensitivity to legumes (peas), so awareness of dietary restrictions is essential.

When he reaches approximately 2.5 years old, he is likely to begin nursery, though he will continue to require the support of a nanny.

** Candidate Profile **

The ideal candidate will have:
- An excellent CV with extensive experience caring for babies and toddlers
- A background in child-focused education (highly desirable)
- Min college / bachelor education
- Fluent English (essential)
- Italian language skills (a plus but no requirement, due to the child’s Italian heritage)
- A warm, energetic, and nurturing personality
- A long-term mindset and commitment to continuity of care as we need a nanny for 5yrs+
- A valid driving licence for driving when outside of London (preferred)
- We are seeking someone who can combine affectionate care with structured developmental guidance as the child grows.

** Duties and Responsibilities **

This role will involve a combination of shared care and sole charge.

Responsibilities include:
- Full nursery duties (tidying up after the child, baby laundry and ironing)
- Accompanying the child to music and swimming classes when required
- Supporting developmental milestones through structured play and early learning
- Providing educational guidance and academic preparation as he grows
- Preparing appropriate meals in line with dietary requirements
- Occasional working in evenings (approximately twice per week)

** Working Schedule **

- Ideally Tuesday to Saturday (flexible for the right candidate)
- Approximately 6–8 hours per day
- Two evenings per week (up to 5 hours each)
- Total weekly hours: approximately 40–50
- Accommodation (for Live-In Candidate)

The family home is a spacious four-bedroom apartment located in Cadogan Gardens, Chelsea, a five-minute walk from Sloane Square and Harrods. The household is calm and private. A dedicated nanny area adjacent to the kitchen is available and works very well for a live-in arrangement.

** Travel **

The father resides in the United States, and the child travels frequently, having already visited the US three times.

The nanny will be required to accompany mother and child on trips to the United States (primarily Florida and New York) for approximately 2–4 weeks between October and April, as well as shorter European trips during the summer when the father is in Europe. During travel, the nanny will have a private bedroom with en-suite bathroom, whether staying in the father’s US residence, villa, or yacht in Europe.
