The Role
- Deliver dynamic and historically accurate lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 History classes, focusing on analytical skills and conceptual understanding for GCSE.
- Work collaboratively within the Humanities faculty to refine resources and implement evidence-based teaching strategies.
- Monitor pupil attendance and progress within the History department and as a Form Tutor.
Requirements
- QTS and a degree in History or a related Humanities subject, attained by January 2026.
- Clear potential to become an Outstanding teacher, evidenced through ITT placements and strong subject knowledge.
- The determination to teach complex historical narratives with impartiality, enthusiasm, and scholarly rigour.
