Science Teacher – Enhance KS3 Foundational Science and Elevate Attainment in GCSE Combined Science – Redbridge

A large, supportive secondary school in Redbridge is seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher of Science with a focus on strengthening core scientific literacy from January 2026.

You will teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (Combined and Triple Science). The role includes planning engaging practical lessons that develop experimental technique and accurate data handling, with a focus on ensuring all students access the higher grades in GCSE Combined Science.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a relevant degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
• Experience in a large, comprehensive school setting is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrable success in teaching GCSE Combined Science.
• Commitment to contributing to the school's extra-curricular science club.
