Science Teacher – Enhance KS3 Foundational Science and Elevate Attainment in GCSE Combined Science – Redbridge
A large, supportive secondary school in Redbridge is seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher of Science with a focus on strengthening core scientific literacy from January 2026.
- Science Teacher required from January 2026
- Redbridge-based school with a clear community focus and supportive environment.
- Ideal for a teacher passionate about developing scientific practical skills and conceptual fluency at KS3/4.
You will teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (Combined and Triple Science). The role includes planning engaging practical lessons that develop experimental technique and accurate data handling, with a focus on ensuring all students access the higher grades in GCSE Combined Science.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) and a relevant degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Experience in a large, comprehensive school setting is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrable success in teaching GCSE Combined Science.
- Commitment to contributing to the school's extra-curricular science club.
