KS2 Teacher - Brent
Are you a versatile KS2 Teacher who enjoys teaching across the Key Stage and raising standards for a wide range of learners? A successful and inclusive primary school in Brent is recruiting a dynamic KS2 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from January 2026.
This KS2 Teacher role in Brent will involve planning and delivering sequenced lessons across multiple year groups, leading intervention programmes, contributing to curriculum development and supporting assessment moderation. The KS2 Teacher will receive a full induction and handover before January 2026, ensuring continuity for pupils and staff.
Role responsibilities
Plan and teach high-quality KS2 lessons that secure cumulative knowledge, fluency and reasoning.
Lead small-group tuition and whole-class strategies that target gaps in learning across KS2.
Use assessment evidence to set precise next steps and to demonstrate impact of KS2 teaching.
Collaborate with subject leads to develop resources and share effective practice across Brent.
Maintain clear communication with families and support transition arrangements for KS2 pupils.
Person specification
Qualified teacher with extensive KS2 experience and confident classroom practice as a KS2 Teacher.
Strong assessment literacy, flexible pedagogy and excellent behaviour-management skills.
Enthusiastic, reflective and committed to contributing to the Brent community; available to start January 2026.
