IT Technician - Hackney
A well-regarded secondary school in Hackney is seeking a skilled and reliable IT Technician to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, permanent role supporting the school’s IT infrastructure and day-to-day technical needs.
About the Role
As IT Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all IT systems, ensuring smooth operation across the school. You will work closely with staff and students to resolve technical issues and provide IT support for teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software
• Providing technical support to staff and students
• Monitoring network performance and security
• Maintaining IT inventory and records
• Supporting school digital learning initiatives and systems
Experience and Qualifications
• Previous experience as an IT Technician or in a similar technical support role
• Knowledge of Windows, Mac, and network systems
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Professional and approachable manner
• Legal right to work in the UK
