We are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Lead to join our global Legal, Regulatory & Compliance team. This is a newly created role that will be instrumental in scaling our legal operations function to support the global Legal, Regulatory & Compliance team as well as Trustly's rapid growth across multiple jurisdictions.
The Legal Operations Lead will be responsible for optimizing legal processes, implementing and managing legal technology solutions, and driving operational excellence across the global Legal, Regulatory & Compliance team. You will work at the intersection of law, business, and technology, ensuring the legal function operates efficiently and delivers maximum value to the business.
This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities, someone who can build scalable systems and processes while managing day-to-day operations. You will partner closely with the Global Head of Corporate and Strategy, legal team members across jurisdictions (particularly in Sweden, the UK, and the US), and cross-functional stakeholders including Finance and IT.
The Legal Operations Lead will be a key member of the global Legal, Regulatory & Compliance team, responsible for implementing best practices in legal operations, managing external counsel relationships, overseeing and managing legal spend, and leveraging technology to enhance the team's effectiveness. This is a role that demands exceptional organizational skills, analytical and data driven thinking, stakeholder management, and a track record of driving transformation and solving complex operational challenges.
