Travel Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Travel Operations Manager to join a Luxury Travel Company, fully office based in London.
The Travel Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day functioning of all travel operations, ensuring seamless service delivery for luxury clients. This role covers itinerary execution, supplier coordination, quality control, client servicing, and operational efficiency across global destinations.
Travel Operations Manager Duties:
- Oversee the execution of hotel, apartment and villa reservations and all travel itineraries are send out within 4 hours of receiving an email, ensuring all client expectations are exceeded.
- Ensure all special requests, VIP amenities, and luxury standards are met for high-net-worth individuals.
- Liaise with hotels, villas, DMCs , transport providers, and activity suppliers.
- Supervise booking processes from inquiry to confirmation.
- Ensure accuracy of reservations, payment schedules, and client documentation.
- Use post-trip client feedback to refine and improve operations.
- Supervise reservations, customer service, and back-office staff.
- Monitor operational budgets and control costs while maintaining luxury standards.
- Approve supplier invoices and coordinate with finance for timely payments.
Travel Operations Manager – Essential Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of luxury travel operations and HNW client service.
- Proven supplier and partner relationship skills.
- Operational Management experience within the travel industry is imperative, happy to work full time in the office, this is not a hybrid role.
- Proficiency in reservation systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Experience managing international travel logistics.
- Background in dealing with high-value clients and bespoke travel arrangements.
