Start Date: September 2026

A highly successful and inclusive secondary school in the IG4 area is seeking an exceptional qualified SENCo to join its ambitious and forward-thinking Inclusion Team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced SEND professional to play a key leadership role within a thriving school community that genuinely places inclusion, aspiration and student wellbeing at the centre of its vision. Working alongside an established team of experienced SENCos, you will help shape and drive outstanding SEND provision across the campus, ensuring every student receives the support, challenge and opportunities they deserve.

The school has built a strong reputation for its nurturing culture, high expectations and unwavering commitment to student progress. Staff work collaboratively, leadership is highly supportive, and there is a real sense of purpose across the school community. This is an environment where innovative ideas are welcomed, professional development is prioritised and vulnerable learners are championed at every level.

The successful candidate will work closely with SEN Support students, students with EHCPs and those within the school’s Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP), ensuring high-quality provision both within mainstream education and specialist support settings.

  • Lead and support outstanding SEND provision across the school
  • Promote and develop inclusive teaching and learning practices throughout the campus

  • Develop and coordinate targeted intervention programmes for students at risk of exclusion
  • Lead the development of differentiated and personalised learning approaches
  • Monitor, assess and evaluate SEND provision and student progress through effective use of data
  • Support staff through guidance, coaching and the sharing of outstanding inclusive practice
  • Ensure statutory responsibilities regarding EHCPs and SEND provision are consistently met to a high standard
  • Support smooth transition processes for students joining or moving through the school
  • Contribute to wider Trust-wide SEND strategy and collaborative practice

What the school is looking for:

  • A fully qualified SENCo (essential)
  • A strong classroom practitioner with excellent knowledge of SEND and inclusion
  • A child-centred leader with high expectations and a collaborative approach
  • Someone passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
  • An individual who can inspire staff, build strong relationships and drive positive change

What’s on offer:

  • Outer London salary package with TLR 2C or Leadership Scale
  • The opportunity to work within a highly respected and supportive Inclusion Team
  • Excellent CPD and leadership development opportunities
  • A vibrant, diverse and ambitious school community
  • Modern facilities and strong pastoral support systems
  • The chance to shape whole-school inclusion strategy and practice
  • A rewarding leadership role with genuine long-term progression opportunities
  • Located in the IG4 postcode area with excellent transport links.
