About the Role:
As a Demand Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Ferrero's demand forecast across the UK & Ireland, ensuring our products are available for customers at the right time while maintaining optimal freshness and supply chain efficiency. Working as part of the Demand Planning team, you will analyse sales trends, customer demand and market intelligence to build accurate short, medium and long-term forecasts that support our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
You'll work with a portfolio of brands and collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Development teams to understand changing demand patterns, promotional activity and new product launches. By transforming data into actionable insight, you'll help drive better business decisions, improve forecast accuracy and support the successful delivery of Ferrero's commercial plans.Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts across your product portfolio, ensuring they reflect the latest sales activity, market trends, promotional plans and business assumptions. You will play an integral part in Ferrero's monthly Demand Consensus and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, preparing analysis, supporting forecast reviews and contributing to business discussions that align demand with supply capabilities. Through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams, you'll ensure new product launches, seasonal campaigns and promotional activity are accurately reflected within the demand plan. Using systems including SAP APO, Demantra and Microsoft Excel, you'll produce meaningful reporting and analysis to monitor forecast accuracy, identify areas for continuous improvement and support better decision-making across the wider Supply Chain. You'll also contribute to budget planning, scenario modelling and demand planning improvements, helping to strengthen forecasting capability and optimise business performance.About You:
We're looking for a commercially aware and analytically minded individual who enjoys working with data to solve complex business challenges. You will have a passion for forecasting and planning, with the ability to interpret trends, challenge assumptions and translate insights into meaningful recommendations that support business performance.
You'll be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and ideally have experience using forecasting and planning systems such as SAP APO and Demantra. Previous experience within Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning or a similar analytical role, preferably within an FMCG or retail environment, will enable you to confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. As a confident communicator, you'll enjoy building strong relationships across the business and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, balancing attention to detail with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
