Catering Assistant

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at Government Offices Great George Street (GOGGS).
You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers, and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front-of-house.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

- This is a part time position, 16 hours per week. Shifts range between Monday and Thursday from 11am to 3pm , leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work within culinary.
- Hourly rate £13.85 .

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:
- Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
- Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
- Stocking up and putting away deliveries
- General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
- Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
