About the Role
Bruin is working with a leading broker to appoint a new team member within their Parametric Insurance division — one of the most innovative and fast-growing areas in the market.
This is a client and market-facing position , focused on helping organisations understand and adopt parametric insurance as a complementary or alternative solution to traditional coverage.
You’ll play a key role in shaping conversations with clients, educating them on data-driven risk transfer, and building confidence in this rapidly emerging class of business.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with clients and brokers to communicate the benefits and mechanics of parametric solutions.
Support the development and placement of bespoke parametric structures across multiple sectors.
Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver innovative risk transfer options.
Keep abreast of emerging market trends and evolving client needs.
Contribute to the ongoing growth and visibility of the parametric offering.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
Experience within insurance (broking, underwriting, or analytics) or from a consulting background with exposure to risk, data, or finance.
Strong communication and presentation skills — able to simplify complex concepts for clients.
Curiosity, commercial awareness, and a genuine interest in emerging risk solutions.
A proactive mindset and the confidence to “hold court” in client discussions.
This is not a business producer role , but it does require someone who enjoys building relationships, having meaningful conversations, and getting passionate about innovative insurance solutions.
