Afterschool Nanny, Job ID J1EE3F
This lovely family is looking for an after-school nanny to care for their two children. One child will need to be picked up at 3:00 pm and the other at 5:30 pm, with care provided until 7:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, including preparing and serving their meals. A driver would be a bonus, but not required. A pet-friendly candidate is also preferred as they have a pet dog.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, from 3 pm - 7 pm, (potentially more hours during school holidays), Total of 16 hours per week
Duties include:
- Picking children up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments.
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children.
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
- Putting children to bed.
- Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
- Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth.
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development.
- Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children.
The family is looking for someone to start ASAP.
