Account Manager (UK)
About Magma Maths
Magma is one of the world’s fastest-growing and most celebrated edtech companies, transforming math education through the power of AI. Our platform turns handwritten solutions into digital insights, empowering teachers to focus on creativity and deeper learning, while giving them real-time visibility into student progress.
The result? More inclusive, engaging, and effective math classrooms for all learners.
But we’re not just building better tools. We’re tackling one of the biggest challenges in global education: math underperformance. With 1 in 5 students globally struggling in math, a subject that forms the backbone of so many career paths, we believe the opportunity to improve outcomes at scale is massive.
We’re already the go-to solution in thousands of schools, and we’re just getting started. As we expand rapidly across the U.S. and Europe, we’re building a team as ambitious as our mission: to help millions of students unlock their full potential in math.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding and supporting Magma’s footprint in the UK. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for schools and trusts, managing relationships to ensure long-term success, satisfaction, and alignment with Magma’s value. You will be responsible for the renewal and expansion of your portfolio of multi academy trusts — identifying opportunities to grow Magma’s presence while ensuring partners see strong results that align with their instructional priorities. The role involves multithreading across multiple levels of trust leadership, from CEO’s to Directors of Education, Maths leads and headteachers.
You’ll engage stakeholders across the system, customizing communication and support to ensure alignment, adoption, and impact at every level. You’ll lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with trust leadership to assess progress against trust-wide maths goals, celebrate wins, and collaboratively plan next steps. Working hand-in-hand with our Customer Success Managers, you’ll design and execute implementation strategies that drive teacher engagement, student learning, and measurable improvements in maths instruction.
This is a strategic and collaborative role for someone who is passionate about education, skilled in relationship-building & expansion opportunities and excited to contribute to meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of multi academy trusts across the UK.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with trust leaders and coordinators.
Lead account renewals and strategic growth opportunities within existing partnerships.
Collaborate with customer success and onboarding teams to ensure successful implementation and high usage.
Track and analyze usage data to identify areas of growth and surface actionable insights to customers.
Represent Magma at national and regional conferences and virtual events
Share educator feedback with internal product and content teams to inform product development.
