Data Reporting Assistant

Data Analyst Location:Wallington (office-based, with the option to go hybrid after 2 months) Contract Length: 6 months (starting ASAP) Hours:Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Pay Rate: £15 - £20 per hour (depending on experience)We're looking for a detail-oriented Data Reporting Assistant to join a small data team on a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with good knowledge of Excel skills and a keen eye for accuracy to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment. What you'll be doing Producing accurate and well-formatted reports for both operational (BAU) and ad-hoc needs. Validating and cleaning data to ensure consistency and accuracy. Using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Conditional Formatting, Charting) to analyse and present data. Translating vague requests into clear, actionable reporting outputs. Identifying anomalies or trends in the data and highlighting meaningful insights. Communicating findings in a clear, professional way to non-technical stakeholders. Handling sensitive datasets with confidentiality and professionalism.What we're looking for Excel proficiency (intermediate level or above is essential). Comfortable working with large datasets (preferred but not essential). Experience with SQL database reporting tools is an advantage but not required. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality reporting. Clear communication skills and the confidence to explain insights simply. Professionalism and respect for the sensitivity of data.
