Working under and alongside the Senior Product Manager, you will help deliver a world class portfolio of powered speakers that embody Cambridge Audio’s passion for sound and design - from opportunity identification through to launch and lifecycle management. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure each product meets our standards for acoustic excellence, usability, and aesthetic craftsmanship. Your work will significantly influence Cambridge Audio’s strategy within the rapidly expanding active speaker market. This is a hands-on product role in a fast-moving and ambitious business, with real responsibility for shaping products that reach a global audience. Success in the role is defined by ownership, sound judgement and follow-through - not by activity alone. The successful candidate will bring a genuine enthusiasm for high-quality audio and the products we create. That enthusiasm is important, but it is not a substitute for rigour. Product decisions at Cambridge Audio are grounded in customer insight, market understanding and commercial considerations. Personal preference or instinct must be tested, challenged and validated through research, data and real-world feedback. This role will suit someone who combines curiosity and energy with structured product management, clear prioritisation and strong collaboration – someone who can contribute confidently to product direction while learning, refining and growing their judgement as part of a wider product leadership team. Key Responsibilities 1. Category Strategy & Road Mapping Build and maintain a category specific roadmap for Active Speakers aligned to company strategy. Identify market opportunities, technology trends, and customer needs to shape future propositions. Contribute insights and recommendations to the Senior Product Manager for portfolio planning. 2. Product Discovery & Definition Lead early-stage discovery, including user research, concept validation, competitive analysis, and feasibility exploration. Produce clear Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and work with the Senior Product Manager on Product Requirements Documents (PRDs). Partner with Acoustic, Electronic, and Software Engineering teams to explore technical trade-offs and platform direction. 3. Cross Functional Collaboration & Delivery‑Functional Collaboration & Delivery Support product development from concept through production, ensuring timely delivery against scope and quality goals. Work with Industrial Design, Engineering, QA, and Operations to maintain alignment throughout development. Collaborate with Marketing to craft compelling product stories, packaging, and go to market assets. 4. Commercial Ownership Define target price points and support sales forecasting discussions. Monitor product financials and ensure commercial viability through development and lifecycle. Analyse product performance postlaunch and propose updates, improvements, or end of life plans. 5. Customer Insight & Advocacy Gather insights directly from customers, retailers, reviewers, and community channels. Champion the listener’s experience and ensure the Cambridge Audio sound signature is upheld. Feedback learnings to influence both future product direction and continuous improvement. What Great Looks Like You excel in this role if you: Are Made by Music — driven by a genuine passion for sound. Enjoy blending strategic thinking with hands on product detail.. Communicate clearly and thrive in cross functional collaboration. Bring curiosity, energy, and strong follow through. Naturally turn complex decisions into clear, actionable plans. Experience & Skills Required 3+ years in Product Management, ideally within speakers, or audio products. Passion for business, customer experience, and products, with expertise in at least one of those areas. Demonstrated experience using AI as a day-to-day copilot to increase both the quality and quantity of product output — leveraging AI tools to accelerate research, improve decision-making, sharpen documentation, and deliver better products, faster. Strong understanding of acoustics, wireless audio technology, or electronics systems (desirable). Proven experience delivering hardware or audio products from concept to launch. Commercial awareness and familiarity with pricing, forecasting, and financial tracking. Analytical mindset with a passion for customer centric decision making. Excellent communication skills with an ability to align diverse stakeholders. Structured, detail oriented, and confident documenting product requirements. Working Pattern & Duration This is a full-time permanent role. Location – Remote/Hybrid (UK Based) This role is ideally based at our London HQ for an agreed number of days a week, with WFH realistically forming a large part of your working time. The ideal candidate will live within reasonable commuting distance of London Bridge.
