A family in St John’s Wood is looking for a warm, engaging nanny to care for their two children, including a 4-year-old attending nursery and a 1-year-old at home. This is a long-term role for someone energetic, reliable, and confident with two young children.

Children
• Girl, 4 years – attends nursery daily; nut allergy.
• Boy, 1 year – at home full day; does not eat beef.

Working Hours
• Monday to Friday, 12pm to 8pm (40 hours/week)

Salary
• Gross £19–22/hour
• Weekly gross: £760–£880

• ASAP

Role Overview
The family is looking for a nanny who can build a loving relationship with their 4-year-old, support their 1-year-old with age-appropriate routines, and assist with child-related organisation. The mother is currently at home; nanny must be comfortable with a parent around.

Main Responsibilities
• Sole care of the 1-year-old during the afternoon
• Support with the 4-year-old’s routine after nursery
• Ensure a structured, calm routine at home
• Prepare healthy meals for the children (no beef)
• Bath time and evening routine
• Maintain tidiness and order in children’s areas
• Support with simple household tasks strictly related to the children

Nanny Duties
• Plan age-appropriate activities
• Engage in play, reading, and learning
• Follow the family’s routine and parenting approach
• Prepare children’s meals (organic preference, no beef)
• Supervise bath time and bedtime routine
• Keep nursery bags, bottles, and children’s items organised
• Manage clothing, laundry, and tidying related to the children
• Attend activities/classes with the 1-year-old (when enrolled)

Child-related Housekeeping
• Meal preparation for children
• Clean up after children
• Maintain clean play areas, kitchen use, and children’s bedrooms
• No deep cleaning

Requirements
• Fluent English
• Energetic and engaging personality
• Experience with toddlers and preschoolers
• Comfortable following routines and boundaries (TV only on weekends)
• Knowledge of nut allergies and dietary restrictions
• DBS check
• Paediatric First Aid
• Must be comfortable in a home where a parent is present
