Service Engineer - Glasgow
- Carry out service and maintenance tasks on industrial and commercial heating and refrigeration systems, producing clear and comprehensive reports on findings.
- Install spare parts and perform service inspections in line with established procedures.
- Troubleshoot and investigate issues, providing detailed written documentation.
- Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment while ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Travel as required for job-related purposes.
- Maintain safe working practices at all times, adhering to company Health & Safety policies.
- Provide ongoing feedback on market conditions to support business development.
- Represent the company on-site with professionalism and integrity.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
- Identify service sales opportunities within the customer base and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer with proven experience in industrial and commercial heating and refrigeration systems to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical/electrical engineering background who thrives on solving problems, building customer relationships, and delivering high-quality service., Mechanical/electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining machinery.
- Proven experience in industrial and commercial heating & refrigeration (essential).
- City & Guilds 2079 qualification (essential).
- City & Guilds 2078 (Ammonia) preferred.
- Strong technical expertise across a variety of machinery.
- Logical and structured approach to fault-finding.
- Innovative thinker and natural problem-solver.
- Up-to-date knowledge of product/systems and industry developments.
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and contribute to business growth.
