Boxcar Bread & Wine is thriving, and we’re growing our floor team! We have part-time and full-time waiter/waitress roles available, ranging from 20–40 hours per week.

What the waiter/waitress role involves
- Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring every visit starts on a high note
- Taking orders, serving dishes and drinks, and providing recommendations with confidence and care
- Recognising the pace of service, knowing when to step it up and when to create calm, relaxed moments for our guests
- Learning and mastering our menu, from morning pastries and coffee to evening dishes and wines
- Supporting smooth service by keeping the floor and service areas clean, organised, and ready
- Contributing to a positive, team-focused atmosphere and helping each other succeed

- A naturally friendly, attentive, and confident communicator
- Someone who takes pride in great service and presentation
- Organised, reliable, and able to stay calm under pressure
- Curious and open to learning, whether that’s deepening product knowledge or growing into new responsibilities
