Site Reliability Engineer (DV Security Clearance) (IT)

Secure Innovation is part of CGI?s Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit, focused primarily on the delivery of contemporary and innovative technical solutions for the government agencies most challenging problems. Our teams work alongside our clients to help them understand how to exploit technologies to maintain competitive advantage. Our systems are engineered for performance, security, reliability and scalability; built with modern CI and CD tooling and techniques. We are currently looking for an experienced cloud infrastructure engineer to join our team ? being able to think outside of the box to overcome technical challenges is essential! Our roles are only available if you hold a UK Security Clearance and are a sole UK National due to the secure nature of the project. You will either hold a higher level clearance or be willing to obtain it. - Background in Software Engineering, including the development of automation scripts, infrastructure as code, creating tooling or frameworks and feature development, ideally using Java and/or python.
- Experience of engineering enablement products such as CI/CD, Observability and Alerting
- Experience creating designs and documentation, including ?how to user guides?
- Experience of investigating and resolving incidents and problems aligned to the SLAs
- Continuously seeking opportunities for system performance improvements
- A passion for learning new technologies and innovation
- Experience of working on AWS
- Linux and Windows administration
- Containerisation experience such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Experience of security protocols such as PKI, TLS etc
