New opportunity for a Primary SEND Teaching Assistant in NW London
This successful and diverse primary school in Colindale is currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated team of support staff.Working as a Primary SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be:
- Supporting children with SEND so that they can access the full curriculum.
- Helping children regulate their emotions and building rapport with them.
- Supporting non-verbal children in with Speech and Language activities.
- Providing support for children who need help with communication, language and literacy.
- Supporting the objectives in specific pupils’ EHCPs and IEPs.
- Creating a safe and supportive learning environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
- Able to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm
Working as a SEND Teaching Assistant is highly rewarding - you will leave every day knowing you've made a difference, and as you will be working long term until the end of the academic year in July you will be able to see the progress you help your key children make over the course of the year.
There are positions available across the key stages and you would be joining a friendly team of staff who work together and who are all committed to providing the best opportunities for every child.If successful, you’ll be working full-time as a Primary SEND Teaching Assistant until the end of the school year in July with the potential to go permanent thereafter.
