Assistant Store Leader - Visual Merchandising

Assistant Store Leaders play a key role in delivering an elevated retail experience while driving operational excellence and commercial performance. In flagship environments such as Regent Street, Assistant Store Leaders partner closely with the Store Leader to translate broader retail strategy into strong in-store execution.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational discipline, and people leadership to ensure the store performs at the highest level while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Strategic LeadershipIn a flagship environment, Assistant Store Leaders operate with the mindset of a Store Leader within a smaller footprint. They support the development and execution of store strategies
aligned with broader retail priorities, ensuring the store performs at a global SKIMS standard. Team Leadership & Escalation Ownership
Assistant Store Leaders provide leadership to Supervisors and Team Members and serve as the first point of escalation for operational, customer, and team-related matters. They model exceptional service and foster a culture of accountability, purpose, and belonging. Building High- Performing, Inclusive Teams
Assistant Store Leaders support the development of diverse, high-performing teams through inclusive leadership, coaching, and clear expectations that empower team members to grow and succeed.
Operational Excellence & ComplianceAssistant Store Leaders maintain accountability for operational excellence across the store. They ensure company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention protocols are upheld while protecting company assets in a high-volume environment.
Cross functional PartnershipsStrong communication and stakeholder management are essential. Assistant Store Leaders partner with Retail Operations, Allocation, Visual Merchandising, and People & Culture to ensure store execution aligns with business priorities and brand standards.
Visual Merchandising Assistant Store LeaderThe Visual Merchandising Assistant Store Leader owns the visual strategy and product presentation within the store, ensuring the floor reflects the SKIMS brand while driving commercial performance.
This role connects visual storytelling, product knowledge, and merchandising strategy to create a store environment that is visually compelling, easy to shop, and aligned with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Own visual merchandising strategy and execution in partnership with the Store Leader
Ensure product displays are elevated, cohesive, and aligned with SKIMS brand standards
Use reporting and product insights to drive merchandising decisions and improve sell-through
Maintain a visually shoppable floor through strong zoning, replenishment, and size integrity
React quickly to trends and business needs, adjusting merchandising to support performance
Maintain operational excellence through clean, organized, and well-presented visual standards
Execute visual updates including product moves, mannequins, windows, signage, and floor sets
Train and coach team members on visual standards, styling, and campaign launches
Act as the product expert in-store, ensuring team confidence in fit, fabric, and function
Coach selling behaviors that connect product features to customer needs
Provide real-time visual feedback and styling guidance to support team development
Partner with HQ Visual Merchandising and Allocation teams to share product insights
Maintain visual tools, supplies, and display assets for daily execution
Maintain a strong leadership presence on the floor during peak hours
Support store KPIs including conversion, productivity, and customer satisfaction
