SEN Teaching Assistant Needed in Perivale – Supporting Personalised Learning and Growth

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent and tailored support to pupils with SEN

  • Follow and implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and individual support plans

  • Support pupils with communication, focus, and task completion

  • Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies

  • Adapt learning materials to meet individual learning needs

  • Encourage independence while offering appropriate support

  • Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff

  • Record observations and contribute to reviews and progress discussions

Some positions may involve personal care or physical assistance, depending on the needs of the pupils. All necessary training will be provided, and dignity and safeguarding will always be prioritised.
